Revamp of a furniture eCommerce website for wholesale and retail
We've been working with Miranda and her lovely team for over 8 years, and it was time for a website refresh.
The updated website reflects Ico Traders' gorgeous brand colors and showcases the amazing wire furniture that they're famous for. We re-organized the product pages to make it easier to purchase and updated the cart & checkout experience to make the whole purchasing process as seamless as possible.
The website also supports their wholesale operation. We brought this into the same website as the retail one, eliminating the need for a second website and associated costs. Some custom code was also developed to optimize stock levels for retail vs. wholesale customers.
The inclusion of reviews on the home page helps build trust and adding in some words from Miranda helps connect the audience to the designer behind the brand. Because when it comes to small business, people buy from people so it's important to try and make that personal connection.
The result is a website that strongly reflects Ico Traders' brand, reduces purchasing friction, and builds trust with potential customers.
