Website copy for new website build afterasuicide.nz
I wrote all content for The Mental Health Foundation's afterasuicide.nz, a website resource for people bereaved by suicide.
This project involved collaboration and feedback with key members of The Mental Health Foundation, as well as suicide prevention officers, funeral directors, advisory groups, iwi, religious organisations, government departments and a number of other key stakeholders. Due to the subject matter, it required a great deal of sensitivity, care, and mutual respect with each of these groups, as well as an openness to feedback and guidance throughout the process.
I also sourced images for the website, with guidance from important stakeholders - an important task as many images can be triggering, play into existing stereotypes, or otherwise unsuitable for the contextual matter.
The website was published in 2022, upon which I received feedback from a number of different groups that it has served as a valuable resource.
