As a communications professional and former journalist I’ve spent almost 15 years weaving engaging stories that empower people to take action, make decisions, and understand the world around them. Turning complex information and organisational objectives into simple, plain English is my bread and butter.

With a strong background in communications, particularly within health adjacent government agencies, I consider myself a writer at heart. Having spent a decade crafting news for TV, radio, digital, and print, I've honed the art of storytelling across all mediums and subjects.

I'm versatile and adaptable, making me the perfect fit for any project, regardless of size. While I can help with a wide range of subject matters, I do have a particular interest in science, conservation, and environmental stories. I recently completed a postgraduate certificate in science communication from Otago University and currently write regular features in the conservation space.
