Donating clothes & saving both the environment and the community
Halu is an app designed to make donating used clothes easier and more impactful for the community. Users can simply scan or take pictures of their items, and our AI will match them with organizations that can benefit from these donations. These organizations include homeless shelters, women's and children’s shelters, orphanages, and community groups like theaters, among others.
One standout feature of the app is My Aquarium, a visual representation of the environmental impact of fast fashion. The aquarium is filled with unhealthy fish and microplastics, symbolizing the current state of our oceans. Each time a user donates or accepts a donation, the health of the aquarium improves, showing that small actions can make a meaningful difference in protecting the environment.
