Paypulse

Project Thumbail for Paypulse - Luke McArthur

PayPulse, an American fintech startup, approached me to help bring their vision of a modern banking app to life. Targeted at savvy, younger consumers, this project required a fast turnaround and a fresh, engaging design. I was excited to contribute to a product that aimed to revolutionize the banking experience for a new generation.

Background

PayPulse is a US based fintech startup aiming to launch a modern money management app tailored for savvy, younger consumers. The client had conducted comprehensive user research and developed high-fidelity wireframes for the app. The project had a tight turnaround timeframe of three weeks to create an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to secure funding for future development.

Objective

I was tasked with bringing PayPulse’s vision to life by developing an engaging and user-friendly interface that would appeal to a less traditional audience, create a brand logo, and build a comprehensive design system in Figma for seamless, quick, and effective rollout once funding was secured.

Approach

Working closely with cross-functional teams in the US, I transformed the high-fidelity wireframes into a fully functional and visually appealing app. The design process emphasized a clean, modern aesthetic with intuitive navigation to cater to the target demographic. Additionally, I built a comprehensive design system which included reusable components, style guides, and interaction patterns to maintain consistency and speed up development.

Outcome

The resulting MVP successfully captured the essence of PayPulse’s vision, impressing the client with its modern design and user-friendly interface. The MVP is now in the development phase and will be utilized in capital raise rounds to secure the necessary funding for full-scale production. This project exemplifies my ability to deliver high-quality design solutions under tight timelines, aligning with client expectations and strategic goals.
